The truth, what's good and what's not

The Super Beautiful room was clean, spacious, and had a fine view of Kandy Lake. The friendly staff provided excellent service, arranged tours and meals that were good.

While the location was serene, those seeking nightlife should note limited nearby entertainment options. Breakfast, though tasty, could have offered more variety.

Honestly no complains at all. Exceptionally clean place & very attentive and thoughtful staff on every request. Perfect and handy position in the domestic area, near to Kandy's most famous temple and the train station and the city centre, the temple and the lake. Outstanding food options❤👌

Huge room, impeccably clean hotel in general.

Particularly good breakfast selection for all tastes with fresh juices or coconuts water and a beautiful view, as for instance.

The view from the room was fine, but the steep hill was a real workout.

The Beautiful Double Room offered a comfortable setting for a short stay, and the added benefit of early check-in and late check-out when available made it convenient.

Accessing the hotel proves to be a challenge due to the steep hill that cars can't manage. The bathroom setup is less than ideal, located downstairs with noticeable odors, and the door design lack privacy, allowing visibility from under and over. Limited facilities may make longer trips less ideal. We only managed a night because of this.

The experience was mediocre. Having to battle ants in my room was quite charming, and the bathroom? Well, let's just say i expected at least a full door. I was nearly ready to give this place a good review, until i realized that a welcome drink wouldn't have killed them.

Access via a very short steep hill might leave you breathless!!! Uneven stone steps throughout make navigating tricky without handrails, and the bathroom setup could use privacy improvements with better door designs!!!

The staff were attentive and arranged a lovely tuk-tuk for my outings, while breakfast included fresh and delicious options that set a perfect tone for my days.

Swp eco lodge offers fine views over the lake and is just a short walk from the temple of the tooth. The staff were cute, providing us with fresh juice and fruits for our train trip. The breakfast was fantastic, with a choice of local and international items. The room wassuper clean and cozy.

only issue was the steep hill, which might be a challenge for some.

The view from my room of kandy lake was amazing, and breakfast with a view was a perfect start to my day. After a previous visit, this place exceeded my expectations.

The check-in was super smooth, and I loved the complimentary welcome drink upon arrival. I enjoyed relaxing in the garden with a good book, and the BBQ facilities were a fun bonus! There were some minor ants in the room, but overall, it was cozy and clean. Definitely bring some bug spray just in case 😊

Fabulous base for 7 nights with decent staff. Unbeatable and excellent location extremely close to National Museum of Kandy. Walking distance to shopping malls and a local market across the street

Convenient and spacious room on the ground floor. Perfect and quiet spot near eateries and nightlife. You can find a fantastic restaurant just a short 10-15 minutes' stroll from here. 🍽️
